Abstract:
Based on the development of the direct oxidationand carbonylation of vapor phase methanol for DMC production, the deactivation and regeneration of the catalyst has been studied. Methods of surface analysis such as XRD, AES and pore structure analysis, were used to characterize the catalyst. Deactivation of the catalyst was attributed to the loss of chlorine, the result is comparied with simulated experiments. An organic substance is elaborately selected to regenerate the deactivated catalyst. After several times of regeneration, the activity remains unchanged
