Abstract: The effectiveness factors of parallel hydorgenation reactions of CO and CO_2 to form methanol over Cu-based catalyst were calculated by the orthogonal collocation method. The calculated values are well consistent with the experimental results. The calculation is not time-consuming, so that the method is an effective one.
