Abstract: Compared with shaking flask cultivation, Tobramycin fermentation in 5L auto fermenter has been studied systematically. The results show that Tobramycin production at 450r/min in 5L auto fermenter reached the level of shaking flask cultivation. On this basis, Tobramycin fermentation has been scaled up successfully from 5L auto fermenter to 10t fermenter.
