Abstract:
An algorithm is developed for simulating stripping tower of sour water-At first,SWEQ model is chosen for describing phase equilibrium and a new method for calculating dew point temperature is developed. Based on the characteristic of the tower,the new te-laxation method simulates the tower successfully.The reliability and the efficiency of the proposed algorithm are illustrated through simulating three industry stripping towers.The calculating results is quite coincident with plant or design data.
