Abstract:
In this paper, a class of "nearly bilinear" systems is defined, which can not only approximate singular perturbation bilinear systems, but also describe some practical industry processes. On the basis of the system, a simple method for desiging the feedback controller of the system is presented here. In addition, a modified scheme of designing the stabilizing feedback controllers for a class of bilinear systems with multiinput is given, where the nonlinear feedback control law is constructed basing on Lyapunov's direct method. The efficiency of the above methods is illustrated using the reduced bilinear model of a practical ammonia reactor taken as an example.
