    Micromixing of Non-Newtonian Fluids

    • 摘要: 采用改进的化学偶合法,研究了半连续搅拦槽内粘稠介质的微观混合规律,分析了物系粘度、搅拦转速、加料速度及其体积比,浆型及其组合对微观混鸽 有征参数-分隔指数的影响。结果表明,粘度增加使微观混合变差,但是分隔指数的变化幅度因粘度范围而异;提高搅拦转速对于改善微观混合的作用有限,尤其假塑性充体的这一相应的限定转速更低;雷诺数不能作为放大准则;兼顾剪切循环作用的组合浆具有改进非牛顿粘稠介质微观混合的显著效

       

      Abstract: By means of chemical coupling method,micromixing of non- Newtonian fluids in a semicontinuous stirred vessel was investigated and the effect of several factors on segre-gation index,a parameter for characterizing micromixing quality,was studied.It is found that the mixing becomes poor with an increase in viscosity to different extent depending on viscos-ity ranges and improving mixing by intensifying agitation is available only within a range of rotational speed.It seems to be a critical operating speed related to fluid pseudoplastic prop-erty.Besides,micromixing performance can be promoted by a reasonable combination of different types of impeller.
