    Hydroisomerization Reaction Kinetics of n-Hexadecane

    • n-Hexadecane was selected as model compound and investigated in a micro continuous reactor in the present of two kinds of catalysts.Experiments were conducted at the conditions of hydrogen pressure 9.0 MPa,LHSV ranging from 0.6 to 3 h~(-1),and different reaction temperature for different catalysts.Then,hydroisomerization pathways and kinetics of normal hexadecane were established on the base of productions yields for both catalysts.The results show that reaction networks are different in the presence of catalyst A and B.Catalyst B has a higher conversion and the selectivity than A,which is suitable to produce high quality lube base oil.
