Effect of carbon black and vulcanization on tensile strain-stress behavior of SBR

    • The influence of carbon black on rubber reinforcement was studied. A new reinforcement model, supernetwork structure model, was proposed. The supernetwork was composed of nonreversible chemical crosslinking and reversible physical crosslink due to carbon blackrubber interaction. The two crosslinkings were not isolated but interlaced with each other. With the strength of reversible physical crosslink increasing, carbon black reinforcement became more effective.
