    Influence of the Compound Additives on Performances of Magnesium Phosphate Bone Cement

    • Functions of the compound additives in setting liquid were investigated and the water proof mechanism was analysed in detail. The experimental results show that the addition of silicasol and cellulose in setting liquid can improve water proof properties of MPC in SBF(Simulate Body Fluid). Compared with cellulose, the concentration of silicasol compound in setting liquid has a more evident effect on the weight loss and early compressive strength of MPC. Moreover, the compound additives have little influence on the reaction product and its crystallization according to XRD diagrams.
