Study on the Synthesis and Antistatic Effect of Quaternary Ammonium Salts of Fatty Ester
12 title compounds were synthesized by esterification of N,N-dimethylaminoethanol with fatty acids, then the quaternarization of these products with halides. Their antistatic effects on fibers were determined. Several factors affecting the antistatic effects were discussed.
