    A Fuzzy Sliding Model Control Strategy for the Burning Through Point and Its Application in Sintering Process

    • The sintering process has the characteristics such as strong nonlinearity,large time-delay and time varying.Based on the analysis of heat pattern for the sintering process,a fuzzy sliding model control scheme is proposed,which combines the fuzzy logic with the sliding model control method and is used in the sintering process of a sintering plant to control the sintering velocity.This method can be used to adjust the control parameters on line,and to control effectively objects with the big inertia and large time-delay in the sintering process.Good control can be mentioned in the case of the parameter variances or larger disturbances.The practical operation results show the proposed method makes the sintering production steady and the foundation is established to realize the optimal control of the sintering process.
