Extraction of In~(3+) from Hydrochloric Acid Solution

The present paper is to report the extraction of In~(3+) from hydrochloric acid solution by several extractants. It is discovered that the extraction ability of Alamine 336, Aliquat 336 and TBP for In~(3+) is better in higher concentrations of hydrochloric acid. Synergistic extraction of In~(3+) from HCl solution by Alamine 336 - MIBK, Aliquat 336 - MIBK and Alamine 336 -Aliquat 336 was discussed. The effects of concentration of HCl and temperature on synergistic extraction of In~(3+) by Aliquat 336 - MIBK were studied.
