    Absorption and Purification of the Total Flavonoids of Pollen typhae with Macro Resin

    • An optimum technique for absorbing and purifying the total flavonoids of Pollen typhae with HZ802 non-polarity macro resin was developed, using the contents of typhaneoside and isorhamnetin-3-O-neohesperidoside as the evaluating criteria. The results showed that HZ802 non-polarity macro resin was suitable for absorbing and purifying the total flavonoid of Pollen typhae. The optimum technical operations were as follows:concentration of the sample was 50 mg/mL(weight of the raw material/volume); volume of the resin was 3 times weight of the raw material; purified with distilled water (2 times the volume of the resin), and then, with 20% ethanol (2 times the volume of the resin); 50% ethanol (2 times the volume of the resin) was used to elute the total flavonoids; both the current velocity of absoring and eluting were 2 mL/min.
