    • The criteria of flooding and onset of recirculation, which are very useful for the scaleup of the reactor, ware given and the optimum mixing conditions were proposed according to the analysis of the fluid motion, In addition, the gassed power consump- tion of six-blade disk turbines was investigated over a wide range of operating condi- tions. Finally, the criteria mentioned above combining with the power data have been used to obtain a set of equations for calculating the gassed power of industrial reactors.
