On line Quality Control of CSTR Concentration

This paper discusses the concentration controlling of a CSTR when the composition can not be measured on line but its off line analyzed data is available. A new method that integrates SPC and process control is presented, which uses EWMA control chart of off line analyzed data to monitor the process and adjust the parameters when the control chart alarms. The simulation results show that the property of the steady state is greatly improved.
