    Preparation of Interlaminar Assembly TiO2 Montmorillonite and Its Application in Desulfurization of FCC Gasoline

    • TiO2 pillared NaMMT (TiMMT) samples for desulfurization of FCC gasoline were prepared by solgel method, and characterized by XRD, SEM, N2 adsorption/desorption and FTIR. The effects of the ratio of tetrabutyl titanate to NaMMT and calcination temperature on the sample structure and desulfurization capacity were investigated. For TiMMT, the BET surface area was in the range of 100-215 m2/g, the average pore diameter in the range of 40-70 nm and total pore volume capacity in the range of 015-022 cm3/g. The sulfur capality reached 165 mg/g, which was twice as much as that of NaMMT calcinated at 400 ℃.
