    Multifractal Analysis of Homogeneous TCP Traffics

    • The multifractal analysis based on the wavelet transform modulus maxima(WTMM) technique is presented,and the characteristics of structure function and multifractal spectrum under large and small time scales are discussed.According to the numerical studies of internet traffic homogeneous traffics(Web) in different times show their fractal behaviors.After researching on the protocols and congestion control of homogeneous traffics with varied protocols,we infer that the multifractal spectrum is mapped to its percentage in TCP traffic.The analysis of the protocol components in TCP traffic shows the relationship between the degree of homogeneity in traffic and its multifractal spectrum.
