Studies on the Syntheses and the Phase-Behaviours of the Temperature-Sensitive Hydrogels

Both the radiation-induced polymerization and initiator-induced initiation poly-merization methods were used to prepare a series of temperature-sensitive hydrogels of acry-lamide and its derivatives.The method of elastic modulus was adopted to study the networkstructure and affectable factors on it.The temperature-swelling curves and cloud-pointcurves of the hydrogels were measured and discussed.It is shown that the cloud-point of gelsis a thermodynamic behaviour reflected the gel-gel phase equilibrium.
