Abstract
Experimental results of the vapor-liquid equilibrium and the liquid-liquid-vapor
equilibrium (abbreviated as VLE and LLVE) of H_2O-methyl methacrylate (MMA) and
H_2O methacrylic acid (MAA) binary and H_2O-MMA-MAA ternary systems at 26. 66 kPa
are presented. After correction for the vapor association of MAA, the binary data are
correlated by UNIQUAC equation. Values of ternary VLE and LLVE predicted from the
equation with corresponding binary parameters are in good agreement with experimental
values.
