Metal Damage Calculation and Measurement in Static Tension

A new definition and measurement method of damage is put forward, the damage critical value of metal is determined and it is proved that damage of metal is exactly the plastic change of metal. A calculating formula of static tension damage is also deduced and the measurement of the parameters in this formula is easy to handle. The measurement results of static tension damage are given.
