    Selection of Image Threshold Based on an Open Genetic Algorithm

    • An open genetic algorithm is used to solve the prematurity and slow convergence in simple genetic algorithms, make the population process in an open environment, enhance the diversification of population, improve the intercrossing and variation operation and avoid the degradation of population. The method is compared with the minimum error method. Experiment results show that it can effectively overcome the prematurity and improve the speed of convergence.
