    A study on the glass forming regions, construction and conduction of CuX-Cu_2O-P_2O_5 and Agx-Ag_2O-P_2O_5(X=I, Br, Cl) systems

    • The properties of CuX-Cu_2O-P_2O_5 system were compared with that of AgX-Ag_2O-P_2O_5 system in glass forming regions, ionic conduction, activation energy and IR. It wasfound that the regions formed glass of both systems are under Cu_2O (Ag_2O)/P_2O_5<3; theglass structures are similar; conductivity increase with heigher temperature and CuX(AgX)compositions, and has a maximum in the regions (or in the boundary of the regions).The T_g of Cu~+ glass is heigher than that of Ag~+ glass. When Cu~+ substituted for Ag~+in the latter system, both glasses have similar regularity in property.
