Abstract
Cellulose tribenzoate chiral stationary phase(CTB CSP) was prepared by a modified procedure, in which CTB was synthesized by the ultrasonic reaction of benzoyl chloride with microcrystalline cellulose and then was coated on the silica gel. Enantiomers of a series of glycidyl aromatic ethers were separated by CTB CSP in normal chromatographic conditions. The chiral recognition mechanism was discussed for the separation of these chiral glycidyl aromatic ethers. The effects of different alcohols in mobile phase on the chiral separation of glycidyl m tolyl ether enantiomers were also investigated.
