Engineering Research of Irregular Shape Catalysts with Through-holes II. Determination of the Tortuosity Factor of Pellets with 12 and 24 Through-holes

The tortuosity factor of two irregular shape pellets were measured using dynamic state method-single pellet string reactor method (SPSRM). The experimental data was analyzed by online computer system and the parameter estimation method was applied to get the tortuosity factor. The tortuosity factor of pellet with 12 through holes is 2.55 and that of pellet with 24 through holes is 2.43.
