Abstract

With the aid of catalytic pyrolysis-gas chromatography/mass spectrometry(Py-GC/MS ),the characteristic pyrolysis products of TOX(trioxane)-TOC(trioxocane )copolymer which are correlated to the structure of main chain,have been identified.Themechanism of pyrolysis is discussed. The TOC content in the copolymer can be determinedby quantative calculation of the area ratio of TOC to(TOX+TOC)in the pyrograms.
