Effect of stagnant regions on tray efficiency under the vapor unmixed and the liquid partial mixing
A new mathmatical model was presented for predicting the effect of stagnant regionson tray efficiency under the condition of no mixing of the vapor and partial mixing ofthe liquid. The calculated results are in good agreement with the experimental values re-ported by AIChE. The calculation procedure is relatively simple.
