Boundary Element Methods for Elastic Torsion of Multihole Bars

The author discusses the boundary element method (BEM )for the problem of elastic torsion of the multihole bars, and proves that finding the solution of the nonlocal boundary value problem is equivalent of finding the solution of the corresponding boundary integral equation. The integrals over the region are transformed into the ones along its boundaries so that the data to be prepared and the time in computation are reduced.
