Influence of Adaptive Elastomeric Engine Mount on Drive Comfort

Based on the design principle and design model of the new adaptive elastomeric mount,a multi-masses calculation model for vehicle is built up.The calculation is carried on the basis of this model.The vertical vibration velocity of the vehicle carriage mass is chosen as the judgment value for the drive comfort.Compared with the calculation results from the models with a classical elastomeric mount and a hydraulic mount, the adaptive elastomeric mount can reduce car noise and improve the vibration comfort in a wide frequency range.
