The Effect of transverse shear deformation on the bending of a circular plate of variable thickness
Starting from Reissner's Plate Theory which takes into account the influence of transverse shear deformation, this paper deals with the bending problem of a circular plate of variable thickness. The results here obtained describe more accurately than those of classical theory the real situation of the problem.
