    Copolymerization of Morpheline-2,5-dione and Lactide

    • A series of copolymers of lactide (L-LA) with (3S)-3-(benzyloxycarbonyl) methyl morpholine-2,5-dione(BMD) were synthesized, using stannous octoate as catalyst. The results show that multifunctional amino acid is introduced into PLLA main chain. Furthermore, the mole fraction of multifunctional amino acid in the copolymer is consistent with its mole fraction in feed.
