    • The microwave-assistance was proved as an efficient approach to distinctly shorten the reaction time in glycochemisty. The microwave-assisted synthesis of alkyl glucopyranosides at the peracetylated glucose and straight chain alcohols was studied in the presence of montmorillonite K-10 and 4×10-10 m molecular sieves. The configuration of glucopyranoside was successfully controlled. The possible mechanism is also proposed.
