co Liquefaction Properties of Shengli Lignite and Corn Straw

    • Effects of corn straw (CS) mass fraction and temperature on the co liquefaction behaviors of Shengli lignite (SL) and CS over the iron based catalyst were studied in a vibration micro reactor. The mechanism of synergistic effect of SL and CS during co liquefaction was studied by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The results indicate that there exits an obvious synergistic effect between SL and CS, which is enhanced with increasing CS mass fraction. At the reaction temperature of 375 ℃, the initial hydrogen pressure of 4 MPa, the reaction time of 0.5 h, and the CS mass fraction of 90%, the yield of oil is 5.87% higher than the corresponding arithmetic mean values from the individual liquefaction of SL and CS. The synergistic effect depends on the reaction temperature. The yield of asphaltene and preasphaltene is increased by synergistic effect at low temperature, while more oils are produced at high temperature. From infrared spectroscopy, the free radicals of CS pyrolysis can promote the pyrolysis of macromolecule aromatic structure from SL, but the hydrogen reaction does not occur in this promoting process. The conversion of phenol substance in the preasphaltene partly results from the synergistic effect.
