Abstract
Two important rules of the discrete pulse orthogonal function (DPOF) matrix are derived and a new approach to the analysis and parameter estimation of discrete bilinear system is proposed. The new method can convert a difference equation into an algebraic equation, thus simplifying the calculating procedure. Simulation studies show that the method is effective.
