Influence of Evaporation Conditions on the Film Quality and the Electroluminescent Properties of Znq 2

Thin films of 8 hydroxyquinoline zinc (Znq 2) formed under different evaporation conditions were investigated by scaning electron microscope (SEM).The monolayer electroluminescent devices with thin film of Znq 2 as emitting layer were fabricated.It was found that the evaporation conditions,especially the evaporation rate,had strong effects on the quality of the Znq 2 film and the performance of the EL devices.The evaporation condition was optimized.
