    Determination and Correlation of the Densities and Viscosities for Naphthalene-Ethanol and Naphthalene-n-Heptane System

    • Densities and viscosities of naphthaleneethanol(at 294.15-333.15 K) and naphthalenenheptane(at 294.15-339.15 K) solutions with different compositions were measured by calibrated pycnometer and Ubbelohdetype capillary viscometer. The results show that both densities and viscosities decrease with increasing temperature, while increase with increasing molarities of naphthalene. The apparent molar volumes and limiting partial molar volume of naphthalene in ethanol and nheptane are also calculated. The densities and viscosities were related to compositions by VogelTammanFulcher(VTF) equation. The result of this paper provided a reference for the eigineering design.
