Design and Performance of Polymer Membrane Materials for Gas Separation

Using group contribution method and free volume model,effects of polymer groups on membrane performance were analyzed.The contribution degrees of various polymer groups on the selec-(tivity) and permeability of O_2 and N_2 were investigated.The separation performance of O_2 and N_2 for the polymers with special groups was predicted.By designing polymer groups,the performance of membrane materials for gas separation was modified.The calculated values were in agreement with the data in reference.
