Abstract
The 3D models of shoe-lasts in terms of the discrete modeling technology were described.The outer figure of shoe-lasts using a rolling test-head and scanning in helix way was measured.The measured data by curve-fitting technique of least-square method were smoothed.Influence of the rolling test-head radius on the measured data was removed to generate the actual data of the contact point between the shoe-last and the test-head,resulting the reconstruction of the shoe-last.An example is demonstrated its feasibility and effectiveness.
