Measurement and Correlation of Solubilities of Glutaric Acid in Different Solvents

Using a simple and reliable apparatus,the solubilities of glutaric acid in water,ethanol,toluene,chloroform,n-butanol and acetone are determined by the analytic method.Results of these measurements are correlated with Apelblat equation,two parameters equation and Wilson equation separately.The solubilities calculated by the model show good agreement with experimental data.It reveals that these models can meet the requirements of engineering design.
