An Optimal Design for Thermal Insulation Layer of Glass Tank Furnace With Computer

Two dimensional stable mathematical model for heat transfer in the thermal insulation of glass tank furnace is set up and FORTRAN program is given. With Burroughs 6900 computer, the temperature field of the thermal insulation layer and heat loss obtained, and proved by the on-the-spot test.Based on this work, the standard and approach in optimization in thermal insulation layer are proposed and programmed. The optimized design with computers in thermal insulation layer may result in many optimized designs for different conditions.
