    Studies on Thermal Behaviors of Molybdenum Dialkyldithiocarbamates

    • Seven kinds of dialkylamine were synthesized. Molybdenum dialkyldithiocarbamates (MoDTC) were then prepared. Effects of different alkyl groups of MoDTC molecules on their thermal behaviors were investigated by differential thermal analysis (DTA).The results obtained from DTA revealed that anti-oxidative performance of MoDTC is better than that of the industrial additives, T202 and T 501. Studies on thermal decomposition mechanism of MoDTC were performed by thermogravimetry.
