Effect of the Structure of PVC/EVA/ABS Blend on Its Processing Performance and Properties

The modification and mechanism of blending were investigated for PVC/EVA/ABS blend. The effects of blending condition and amount of modifier on the mechanical properties of the blends were studied. With the aid of SEM and TEM, the multiphase microstructure of the blends has been obtained. The relationship between the microstructure and mechanical properties of the blends was discussed. Using Haake rheometer, the rheological and thermal stability of the blending systems were studied.
