    Nonlinear Process Model Based Control Schemes for High Purity Internal Thermally Coupled Distillation Columns

    • The control problem of an internal thermally coupled distillation column is studied.The(dynamic) features of ITCDIC are analyzed firstly and followed by that,a newly control theme,nonlinear(process) model control,is designed and applied to the process.Compared with the conventional PID control theme,the control effects demonstrate that the NPMC theme outweighs the conventional PID in all(aspects).It achieves quicker response speed and the smaller remaining error than the other one.
