Abstract
The effects of glutamine on 2F7 hybridoma cells which produce IgG monoclonal antibody against small cell lung cancer were investigated, which include cell growth, glucose consumption, lactate and ammonia production. The results suggest that the suitable glutamine concentration for 2F7 cell growth is 2.5 mmol/L. The glucose comsumption and lactate production are reversely proportional to the glutamine concentration, and ammonia production is directly proportional to the glutamine concentration.
