Abstract
Due to the frequent pre-heating and switching of the coke tower in the delayed coke process,it is difficult to obtain a satisfying outlet temperature control result of the coke furnace.Based on the predictive function control algorithm and the event-based feed-forward controller,a novel advanced control system for the delayed coke furnace is proposed.The application results indicate that the proposed system can improve the control precision and stability of the delayed coke process significantly.
