Model Analysis and Flowsheeting Strategy of Absorption and Reproduction Process of Benfild Solution

According to the characteristics of the absorption and reproduction process of Benfild solution, a flowsheeting strategy of converging simultaneously some teared variables in system level and output ones in unit level is presented. A direct search approach is used to solve a set of nonlinear equations corresponding to the boundary-value problem describing the reproduction process because of the stiff property of the differential equations in some field. The calculation results show the adopted strategy is more effective than the sequential or simultaneous modular method since it can avoid to calculate repeatedly the boundary-value problem.
