X_a Method with Self-Consistently Determined Parameter and the Calculation of Excited State Energies of Na Atom
Based on the free-election-gas model, a theoretically determined X_a exchange parameter method which is suitable for calculating excited state energies was presented.With this method,the principal series of 4 p-15 p energy levels of Na atom were calculated. The results are in good agreement with the known experiment values.
