Thermal Conversion Behavior for Fractions of Vacuum Residue

    • The Daqing vacuum residue(DQVR)was firely separated into eight-fractions in-stead of customary four-fractions.The eight-fractions were called saturates, light, middle andheavy aromaties, light, middle and heavy resins and asphltene. The four-fracions and eight-frac-tions of DQVR were thermal cracked in a thermogravimetric analyzer system. The parameters ofthermal reaction kinetics were obtained according to first-order equation. The parameters of lightarmotics were nearly the same as that of middle armotics, the parameters of light resins weren-early the same as that of middle resins. So,we can charaterize DQVR with only six lumpedspecies which were saturates, light aromatics(including original light and middle aromatics),heavy aromatics, light resins(including original light and middle resins),heavy resins and as-phltene and each species had nearly the same thermal conversion feature respectively.
