Research on measurement of surface waviness of metal parts

This paper discusses the method used for measurement of waviness while turning the outer surface of metal cylinder, and provides the measured mold by using a noncontact transducer. The paper also analyses the data processing detailly and provides a new method for waviness measurement, which may be useful in engineering applications.
