Influence of Acylkinase and Acyl-CoA Synthetase on the Biosynthes of Spiramycin by Streptomyces ambofaciens

    • The biosynthes of spiramycin by Streptomyces ambofaciens was affected by the enzymatic system including acyl CoA synthetases and acylkinases. The activity and the influencing factors of those two enzymes have been studied. Both acylkinase and acyl CoA synthetase have two activity peaks. The former was only present in the prophase and the metaphase; the latter was synthesized during the metaphase and the anaphase. The results indicated that acylkinase and acyl CoA synthetase could be activated by Co 2+ and Mn 2+ while Cu 2+ could inhibit the former but activate the latter. Adding the influencing factors in the metaphase have a distinct activation than in the prophase. The maximum of improvement of average production was 31%.
