Fuzzy Clustering Based on Improved Genetic Algorithm

An algorithm based on the fuzzy C-means(FCM) was introduced.but it was difficult to get the globally optimal solution by this algorithm.The genetic algorithm,which is good at searching the globally optimal solution,was adopted for clustering.And some improvement is made.Finally,this enhanced genetic algorithm is used on the clustering of IRIS data with 150 numbers of the swatch.Simulation result shows the improved genetic algorithm is efficient contrast with FCM.
